The Circle International Speedway in Canada is a smaller oval track, which has a history of being very famous in terms of car racing. It is due to the nature of the racing that it also has the most popular names in the world.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway in America is the only one which holds the running of the Indy Racing League. The IRL, or the International Historic Racing League, is the oldest of the racing events.

It started as a traditional grand Prix for touring cars and is now an oval race with the top drivers competing against each other. The racetrack is one of the major attractions of the city of Indianapolis and is the most visited event in the history of the city.
